I'm not sure how many of you are already aware fo this website but I wanted to share it as I find it amazing, there are such wonderful images posted on there that make my images look like something of a happy snappers (Not to say I am any better than that).

i may have sourced an inexpensive secondhand HS10 camera can anyone tell me if they are any good for someone that is new to photography, i have a point and shoot samsung just now and want to up-grade to something with a decent zoom.
another question- whats a good photo editing package to start off with and what features should i look for?

Whatever your age, invest in a reasonably good computer with a large hard drive, internet connected - this is your start to learning all aspects of digital imaging. Research all aspects of digital imaging in the commercial sense. One site, which is Digital Photography School, is a library of knowledge. I took one year to learn all aspects of digital photography; with the help of Real Player, I have downloaded 298 tutorial files on all aspects of digital photography. Other sites would include Photo answers, Photoshop Creative, and Photo Radar (my bookmarks).
