Hi everyone!
I'm new to this photography lark, and got a S4000 for Christmas. My hubby bought me a bridge camera to make sure I'd use it before getting me a more expensive DSLR.
Anyhoo, I've been proving myself and have been practising everyday (you can see some of my shots here: http://365project.org/amyamoeba/365/2012-01) and am now looking to improve further.
My name is Kirsten. I've never done photography before and recently I realized..."why don't I have pictures to capture my favorite memories?!". I've been browsing through the site and already I've noticed how nice people are! I can't wait to get started with my new s3400. So far I am addicted to the macro setting just because the pictures are crystal clear! So, what is your favortie part about the site? Any tips for taking pictures of animals or scenery? (I am a nature enthusiast!)

Very happy this Christmas. Got a S3200. I have posted one or two photos with it.
But what would be really nice was if some people were to comment (and hopefully like!) some of my photos.
I am still trying to learn all of the tricks with photography so some comments would be really nice.

hey everyone! im getting my new Finepix S4080 tomorrow! i have heard mixed reviews about the camera but it seemed to be a smart buy overall. if anyone owns or has an opinion about this camera or has any helpful hints in regards to owning this camera or basic photography in general, please, fill me in!

Hi!
im roy, and im new here. Im here,because i own a fujifilm finepix s1600. I made really nice photos with this camera. I thought it was big, but for a brige camera its small and compact! This is my first camera, and i got it yesterday. I love my fujifilm camera!
It has 15X zoom, and i think that is alot. 12.2 Megapixels isnt bad either! I only have problems with the sharpness. (sometimes). For some reason i dont get the panorama mode. But i wish i would!
