It could have been worse, I thought about doing 'The Year of the Cat'.

Here's the original, (forgot you can now post images in comments), taken on the miniature railway at Bicton, Devon. I think it's always useful with a manip to show the original. The basic manipulation was done with the freebie FotoSketcher with additional tweaking with PhotoFiltre Studio, removal of some shadows, emphasising eyes and fading around the borders.
Oh yes, here's the 'The Year of the Cat' ...

Brilliant Howard. Love the charcoal/pencil drawing effect. You can see the love and warmth in the eyes. Like the candid natural pose and really suits the song well. Hope you are well. By the way do you ever hear anything from Carla these days she seems to have vanished off the radar.
