Free software to convert your digital photos into Art
Hi all,
I haven't really been active on this new site due to being way too busy but I've just found a brand new freeware program that will convert your digital photos into arty drawing or paintings. I know that most photo manipulation programs will already do this but they usually cost money & are sometimes a bit too fiddily to use for the begginer, but this is a stand alone program that is dead simple to use with very impressive results.
Ok the program is called 'FotoSketcher v1.9' & you can download it from their website here:

Sorry if the link is not clickable but I'm not quite sure of how to do it on here & I couldn't be bothered to work it out. I've added an example photo on my profile if you want to see what it is like.
have fun & all the best,
Nige.

Nige,
Thanks for the link. I've just downloaded it and had a quick play and as you say it's easy to use and gives good results.
There are some nice options to frame the image as well, complete with mounts and drop shadows.
Well worth a look.

Very impressive, scottiedog-Allan! I've just downloaded the program after seeing your pic. Looks like a great bit of software to play with!
Thanks, Allan for showing us an example of what can be acheived. Also a big thanks to Nige for originally posting the link in the first place (long before I joined this site).
