I think that the main focus is probably a little dark for it to be clearly defined as I think the foreground is just slightly (very slightly) soft. But it all adds up to an amazing photo. Excellent work Jacquie.

An outstanding shot Jacquie, beautiful sky colours,on first sight of the sand in the foreground I was thinking that the softness was due to the effect of a receding tide,. Whatever, the effect is really beautiful

It's another place and another time isn't it?!

I think dreamlike describes it for me, the silhouette of the rocks out to sea, the marbled tones of the sky.  It is a little primeval.

Beautifully composed, as always.  Time and effort pays every time.

J'ai mis sur youtube broadcast yourself 1 video de l'ouest canada ainsi que la martinique pour les voir sur youtube broadcast yourself taper dans rechercher  jyvais1001 clic sur 1 video et sur34 videos commencer par la (1) ensuite(2)etc... les vidéos sont en plusieurs extraits.BON VISIONNAGE et bonjour de la france.

It's hard to add anything to the above comments.  This is a beautiful photograph.  I like the "molten" quality of the sand in the foreground--it's as if the hot sun had melted it and it's just now starting to harden up.  Very impressive.
