I am a retired accountant who has rediscovered his love of photography after a fifty year hiatus. I enjoy taking pictures of everything that has any interesting features but prefer not to capture images of family members at boring birthday dinners and suchlike. I belong to a local Meetup group, but find that there are too many photography snobs attending. I hate it when they monopolise the subjects with their thousands of dollars worth of gear - I feel a little intimidated with my modest HS10, but still take a fairly decent picture at the end of the day.
